About the HD Triathlon
This will be our 19th year for the 100% charity event for the Huntington’s Disease Triathlon. Your money will go directly to research to help find a cure for this inherited degenerative brain disorder. Due to popular demand from last year, it will take place at Miami Marine Stadium, 3501 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami, FL 33149 on Sunday, August 1st, 2010. Choose to race the shorter distance (Sprint or the longer distance (Olympic). Or, make it a social event and join a Relay team (up to 3 people). Enjoy the largest selection of post race refreshments while enjoying the festivities from the many volunteers who offer to come and help support this event.

USAT Junior Development Race Series
| We are happy to announce that the Huntington’s Disease triathlon will be part of the USAT Junior Development Race Series for athletes ages 15-19. The purpose of the Junior Development Series is to provide junior athletes (Ages 15-19) an opportunity to race against one another on various courses through the state. Overall series winner both male and female will be eligible for travel grant to Nationals. Friends of Marine Stadium
Marine Stadium is one of America’s most endangered historic places and a great venue for a triathlon. The Huntington’s Disease Triathlon supports “Friends of Marine Stadium” to restore the City of Miami Marine Stadium. You can get involved and help restore the Stadium by going to the Friends of Marine Stadium website, www.marinestadium.org.
